Regulatory position

Viaclin is a consultancy. We advise on, manage and improve clinical and commercial supply chains for life sciences companies.

• Viaclin works as a consultancy. Where a programme needs a licence holder, for example a manufacturer, a wholesaler or an importer of record, the client or a contracted partner provides it under its own authorisation.
• Our work runs inside the client's quality system and under the client's licences, or those of the client's contracted partners. The licence holder keeps its regulatory duties at every stage.
• Batch certification and release stay with the Qualified Person named on the relevant licence.

GxP and data integrity

Good practice rules exist to protect patients, and we treat them that way. On an engagement our consultants follow the client's procedures, complete the client's training before they touch a controlled process, and work in the client's validated systems with their own named accounts.

Records we create or handle are kept attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original and accurate, and they stay complete, consistent, enduring and available. We do not keep shadow records outside the quality system. Deviations and errors are reported through the client's process, in the open and without delay.

Our position on AI

Where AI is in scope, Optimised Operations work can include oversight agents, delivered with SupplyAI. The position is simple: agents advise, people decide.

• An agent watches activity, flags risk and suggests a course of action. It does not act alone.
• A named person makes and owns every decision, including every GxP decision.
• AI enters a GxP workflow once its intended use, risks, controls and evidence are written down and the client's quality system has accepted them.
• Client data goes into an AI tool where the client has approved that tool for that data, and not before.

Viaclin does not tolerate forced labour, child labour or human trafficking in its own business or in its supply chain. Consultants join us by choice and under written contracts. If we find a supplier that falls short, we raise it and, where it is not fixed, we end the relationship.
